It is exactly 3:33 a.m. and I am having some meal to get through the day while fasting. I had a Whatsapp call with my father earlier. He was asking me about my flight to Indonesia today. “Don’t forget to have your prayers,” he said. It really was a normal phone call I usually have with my father, though our farewell discussion made me realize an important part. Abu was telling a story on how his mother always asked him to pray, and that got me thinking that my parents do the same as well. Parents always wish the best for their children, in life and afterlife. Guiding them to the path of God is the only way they can be assured that we will find happiness even in afterlife. It is amazing how they can love their children to that extend.
