Saying (almost) goodbye

“All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go…”

It’s forty-five minutes to midnight and my bags are definitely not packed yet. My plane is scheduled to depart at 5.50 in the morning yet I am still wondering on how to stuff all of the things in an old rented room to a one-metre tall suitcase—and a cabin-sized one, but that really doesn’t count to anything when you got a whole cupboard to fit in. I’ve been in the capital for three-months long, and I’m finally counting the minutes on how much longer I can stay before finally going back to my hometown. And, well, I guess I’m just enjoying the last look of my 5×5 bedroom here, while reminiscing the moments.

It would be an understatement to call my last few months in Jakarta as eventful. It was exhilarating—thrilling, challenging, and super fun with a little bit of surprises every now and then. Every single part of it would certainly be missed.

I guess this is goodbye… for now… 😉

PS: Today the guys at Zeno held a farewell party for me, and it was fun to the core. We took some silly pictures and amazingly out-of-the-box “graduation” presents which I would most definitely love to share, but then give up due to the bleak lighting of this old room. Note to self: post the photos after arriving at Jogja.
